What Is A Personal Injury?

Personal Injuries are any injuries that are caused to the person by the negligence of another. They may include mental trauma as well as physical injury, medical expenses, lost earnings and property damage. Generally, personal injury claims are made to obtain monetary compensation for injuries that were caused by the negligence or carelessness of another.

In some cases it is not necessary that anyone be negligent. For instance, where there is an injury that is caused by a defective product or any injury that occurs at work, you may be entitled to compensation even though no one was negligent or careless.

If you have been injured, you may be entitled to compensation. Legal action may be necessary to secure your rights. However, there are time limits put on how long you have to sue, so if you have been injured you should contact an Lamey Law immediately.
